The first release of Club Gold came in 2000. The idea behind this series was to release the 12 players that came in the 1999 Team 12 Pack but individually in Window Boxes with a Collectors Card. The difference was the bases were painted Gold rather than the green. Each box was limited to 2000 pieces each with Arsene Wenger being the rarest to obtain and the prices ranging anywhere up to £10 each.
