Unreleased Figures

Unreleased David Seaman

Unreleased Francis Jeffers

Unreleased Kolo Toure

These Unreleased Master Models were probably going to be in the Fan Favourites 12 pack before they got pulled for one reason or another. None of these Masters have been auctioned off by Corinthian yet and it would be nice to have these as no one else would have them.

Unreleased John Jensen

Unreleased David Rocastle

These are other Unreleased Arsenal models i have found pictures of. The John Jensen was used in the 1996 Corinthian Handbook, he was obviously planed but didn't make the release. Corinthian also Name Glen Helder as a figure due for release but I've never even seen a picture of the model so it is not know if one exists. The other figure is David Rocastle in what appears to be an Arsenal kit. This picture was found by Tony Sharpe on Ebay by a seller using it to advertise he auction. You can see paint models of Parlour and Hillier behind him.

With the exception of the Master Models all the Corinthian figures produced to date are moulded from plastic. On occasions, these plastic models have been made, but for some reason the figures never made it to the shops. This occurred quite frequently in the early days with a large number of different FAPL figures being made. What happened to these figures is not known. In the case of Prostars, some of them could have be repainted and sold in different kits in a later series. For the headliners, this wasn't possible so the figures were never released. In additional to these, there are 'First Paints' which are the initial figures painted in the club colours, but without the sponsors logo or shirt numbers. By looking at the Master Models that Corinthian have sold in recent years it is possible to make a guess at which figures may have been produced in plastic. The other way is to look in the old catalogues and promotional material released by Corinthian to see if any unreleased figures appear. The problem with this is that it may have been the Master Model that was photographed. The only real way of knowing is to actually see a photo of these unreleased figures.

When i looked back through some of my Arsenal club catalogues i found a page advertising FAPL figures. The 12 pack was pictured but on closer inspection i noticed that the players differed from the 12 in the pack when released. The Kiwomya and Hartson figures in released version were originally going to be Parlour and Hillier. It looks as if this was made up using Master Models for promotional use then the figures were changed on release.
